Nava Durga Builders, based in Jorpati and operated by Shiva Prasad Dangal, has been blacklisted for three years. This decision was made following a recommendation from the Shankharapur Municipality Office, effectively barring the company from participating in public procurement activities for the next three years.

Sapan Shailung JV, a joint venture involving Sapan Construction from Hetauda (owned by Hariprasad Dhakal) and Shailung Construction from Dholahiti, Lalitpur (owned by Sharada Prasad Adhikari), has been blacklisted for two and a half years. The penalty came after a recommendation from the Federal Road Supervision and Monitoring Office in Chaurjahari, Rukum West, under the Department of Roads.

Two other companies were blacklisted for two years. Tenim Multipurpose Company from Musikot, Rukum West, and KR Construction from Kohalpur, Banke, both faced this penalty. KR Construction’s blacklisting followed a letter from Nepal Rastra Bank.

Khadgadevi Construction from Bandipur, Tanahun, has been blacklisted for one and a half years. This decision was based on a recommendation from Bhanu Municipality in Tanahun, which was followed by the PPMO’s enforcement of the penalty.

The remaining companies were blacklisted for one year. These include Tapt Construction Service, Purn Construction Service, and IA Construction from Birendranagar, Surkhet. Additionally, Hardik Construction, Jisan Traders & Order Suppliers, and Sabina General & Order Suppliers, all from Banke, were blacklisted for one year. Other companies in this group include Yas Keshari Construction from Humla, SK Construction Service, Travelers Crew Construction from Kavre, and Unique Construction Service from Khotang. Universal Trade & Technology Pvt Ltd from Kalikasthan, Kathmandu; GC Construction from Kaski; Mahima Construction from Bardiya; and Jayaswal Construction from Dhanusha were also blacklisted for one year.

These blacklisting measures reflect the PPMO’s efforts to ensure that construction companies meet their contractual obligations and maintain quality standards in public procurement projects. The companies involved are now barred from participating in future public procurement activities for the duration of their respective blacklisting periods.
