The Public Procurement Monitoring Office, under the Office of the Prime Minister, has blacklisted six construction companies.
In a notice issued today, the office stated that the companies were blacklisted based on written recommendations submitted by various government bodies.
These companies have been blacklisted under Section 63, Sub-section (1) of the Public Procurement Act, 2063, for failing to complete their assigned projects within the stipulated timeframe.
The blacklisting period ranges from one to three years, during which these companies will not be allowed to participate in any procurement processes.
