The price of gold has dropped once again today. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold has decreased by Rs. 500 per tola, bringing it down to Rs. 194,700 per tola.
Yesterday, gold had seen a significant drop of Rs. 2,400 per tola. In total, over the last two days, gold has decreased by Rs. 2,900, after rising steadily for the previous six days.
Yesterday, the gold price stood at Rs. 195,200 per tola.
On Baisakh 9 (April 21), the price of gold had reached a record high of Rs. 197,900 per tola, which remains the highest price ever recorded in Nepal.
Meanwhile, the price of silver has slightly increased today. Silver is currently being traded at Rs. 2,240 per tola, a rise of Rs. 5 from the previous rate.
