Nepali life insurance companies collected premiums totaling Rs 50.36 billion in the first three months of the current fiscal year (FY).
According to records from the Nepal Insurance Authority (NIA), 14 life insurance companies collected Rs 50.12 billion, while three micro life insurers collected Rs 247.3 million in premiums from selling their policies between mid-July and mid-October this year.
Nepal Life Insurance Company earned the highest premium amount at Rs 13.45 billion, followed by National Life Insurance with Rs 5.68 billion, and Life Insurance Corporation (Nepal) Limited with Rs 4.98 billion during the review period.
