Gold and silver prices declined in Nepal on Monday, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association.
The price of gold fell by Rs 1,300 per tola, bringing it down to Rs 299,700 per tola from Rs 301,000 per tola on Sunday.
Silver prices also recorded a slight drop. The price decreased by Rs 35 per tola, settling at Rs 5,190 per tola compared to Rs 5,225 per tola the previous day.
The association sets daily gold and silver prices in the domestic market based on fluctuations in international rates.
