Deposits collection by the commercial banks in the country increased by Rs 21 billion last week, while the lending amount declined by Rs 1 billion during the period.
According to Nepal Bankers’ Association, as of Friday, the collection of the deposit stood at Rs 4.545 trillion, an increase from Rs 4.524 trillion. Likewise, the loan amount of commercial banks declined from Rs 4.225 trillion to Rs 4.224 trillion.
