‘Bhatbhate App’ for second-hand motorbike transaction

May 24: Are you thinking to buy a new motorbike or sell your old one? If so, you can use ‘Bhatbhate App’ for your motorbike transaction from home. Transaction of the second-hand motorbike has become easier after AM Nepal – a private company brought into operation the app.

Those wishing to sell motorbikes can post details of their vehicles in the app. With this, buyers can directly contact the seller online. The new app has been developed targeting buyers and sellers of a second-hand motorbike when the innovative platform like Tootle and Pathao are gaining popularity in Nepal. “One can use the app for sale and buy of second-hand motorbikes. It reduces the burden for approaching recondition house”, said Khem Raj Devkota, general manager of App Nepal Pvt Ltd.

The new app has created a good platform for the transaction of a motorbike, he further said. It is noted that there are around 921,917 motorbikes in the Valley. The mart android phone holder can freely download the ‘bhatbhate app’ from Google Play Store and i-phone users can do this from ‘App Store’, said Sudip Pandey, office manager of AM Nepal.

Now it is free of cost. But later, one will be charged with Rs 500 for each transaction of bike provided around 30,000 users will download the app and over 2000 will post their motorbike details for sale. Currently, 20,000 users are using this app. Around 1,000 motorbikes have been kept for sale through online posting. RSS
