Suresh Adhikari, secretary at the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, has instructed the Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) to prepare a clear business plan before buying an aircraft.
Speaking at a program organized to welcome the new tourism minister, Sudan Kirati, on Monday, the tourism secretary instructed the state-owned NAC to make a clear plan before purchasing more aircraft.
He asked the corporation to make a clear business plan for the purchase of aircraft.
Adhikari further said that the wide-body aircraft of NAC is not getting business and added that the ability to identify flights to new destinations for the Airbus 330 wide-body aircraft should be developed.
He said that the NAC could not cope with the demand for flights from the remote and mountainous areas of Nepal.
