Kathmandu, April 16 : The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) has contributed Rs 10 million to the COVID-19 Prevention, Control and Treatment Fund.
CAAN Director-General Rajan Pokharel handed over the cheque for the amount to Deputy Prime Minister and Minister Ishwor Pokhrel on Wednesday (April 15). DPM Pokhrel is the Chair of the High-Level Coordination Committee for the Prevention and Control of COVID-19 formed by the government to deal with the coronavirus pandemic.
Before this, CAAN had provided Rs 5.17 million to the Fund on behalf all its employees and the latest amount is provided as an institutional assistance.
