CG Motors, under the Chaudhary Group umbrella, is set to establish CATL’s Battery Lab and Service Center, marking the introduction of the world’s largest EV battery manufacturer into Nepal.
Amidst the rising adoption of electric vehicles (EVs) and growing customer demand, CG Motors aims to address lingering uncertainties by launching a state-of-the-art battery service center and lab.
“The establishment of the battery service center and lab from September 2024 is poised to bolster customer confidence,” said a spokesperson from the company.
With a focus on providing accessible service through a dedicated hub, the company plans to deploy highly skilled professionals trained in CATL’s advanced technical methods.
According to statistics, CATL holds 37% of the global battery market share, with Nepal accounting for up to two-thirds of its market presence.
Beyond CATL’s loyal customers, the service center aims to cater to a diverse clientele comprising users of various other battery brands.
“The prompt and cost-effective service provision across all brands will reinforce CATL’s popularity in Nepal,” noted the company, emphasizing its commitment to earning customer trust swiftly.
