Kailali, January 7: Chief Minister of Sudur Paschim Trilochan Bhatta has said that the goods produced from the small and cottage industries should be modernized.
Inaugurating the women entrepreneurship, industrial products and technology exhibition fair organized by women entrepreneurs committee of the province on Monday in Dhangadhi, the Chief Minister said that the goods produced from the small and cottage industries cannot compete with the larger industries until the former modernize their goods.
On the occasion, he also vowed to simplify the acts and laws in regard to registration process of the cottage and small industries.
The fair was organized to promote the goods produced by the small and cottage industries in Kailali district.
The fair would last till 13 January and altogether 200 commercial stalls have been kept in the exhibition fair. RSS
