Kathmandu, November 25 : The country’s largest infrastructure equipment exhibition CII’s ConMac Exhibition 2018” concluded on November 24 in the capital. creating a new benchmark in development of infrastructure sector of Nepal and the exhibition industry as a whole.
The three-day event held at Sallaghari Open Ground in Bhaktapur was attended by more than 6000 business visitors especially from contracting community and infrastructure companies working on infrastructural development sector from across Nepal. More than 150 exhibitor displayed an array of products and features across a 250,000 square feet area venue ground.
It showcased the latest technologies and equipment related to the infrastructure and construction sector.
Inaugurated by Physical Infrastructure, Planning and Transport Minister, RaghubirMahaseth, on 22nd November 2018, CII ConMac 2018 were attended by Manjeev Singh Puri, Indian ambassador to Nepal, Vipin Sondhi, Chairman, CII Trade Fairs Council, Mahesh Basnet, Member of Parliament, Bhaktapur Nepal, Arvind K Garg, Chairman, ConMac Nepal 2018 & President, ICEMA, Rabi Singh, President Federation of Contractors’ Associations of Nepal (FCAN) and Virendra Gupta, Deputy Director General, CII .
It was organized by CII (Confederation of Indian Industry) in association with Embassy of India in Nepal.
The event has benefited not only infrastructure and construction sector but also the economy as a whole in Nepal, claims the organizer.
