In mid-October (Kartik), commercial banks have reduced the average maximum interest rate on personal term deposits to 6.18%, down from 6.39% in mid-September (Ashoj). This represents an average decline of 0.21 percentage points.
Sanima Bank has notably increased its interest rates, while ten banks have decreased their rates, including Agricultural Development Bank, Rastriya Banijya Bank, and Nabil Bank. Meanwhile, nine banks, including Global IME and SBI Bank, have maintained their rates.
