This move follows the government’s earlier announcement, which was part of the current fiscal year’s budget, outlining plans to provide online services for company registration processes and renewal. Company Registrar Mahesh Baral confirmed that the transition to online company registration will commence on October 2, following the development of necessary software, which was initiated shortly after the budget was approved.

Baral stated, “While additional software enhancements are underway, we are prepared to launch online company registration services on October 2. Extensive efforts are being made both by the companies and our office to ensure a smooth transition.”

Furthermore, the company registrar’s office has issued a notice to all relevant parties involved in company registration and renewal, urging them to make the required preparations for the digital registration process. The office has also requested the submission of essential documents and digital signatures to facilitate online transactions. While certain aspects of company-related work may still necessitate physical presence, preparations for digital processes are strongly encouraged, according to the company registrar’s office.

Likewise, the office has called upon company registration and administrative organizations to proactively ready themselves for the upcoming shift toward online company registration procedures.
