Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has said that the country’s economy should be made dynamic again from the collaboration of the government and private sector.

Addressing the Fifth International Women’s Trade Exhibition through a virtual medium, PM Deuba opined that collaboration between the government and private sector was necessary to make the country’s economy, adversely affected by coronavirus pandemic, dynamic again.

He shared, “The government is effortful to make the country’s economy dynamic by providing vaccine against COVID-19 to all citizens as soon as possible.” The Prime Minister lauded the contribution of the Federation of Woman Entrepreneurs’ Association of Nepal (FWEAN) in the promotion of Nepali products and their marketing, saying such expo helped further strengthen the country’s economy.

Also the President of the Nepali Congress, PM Deuba mentioned that the government would give priority to marketing in the current situation where the goods produced in the country could not reach the market due to the adverse situation brought by the COVID-19 pandemic. On the occasion, he also wished for the success of the expo.

Similarly, FWEAN’s chairperson Rita Singh shared that the exhibition was organized in order to head the women towards the self-dependent path by encouraging women entrepreneurs. FWEAN’s first chairperson and expo coordinator Niru Rayamajhi and second chairperson Shova Gyawali said that the expo was organized to connect agro products and handicraft goods produced in the country with the economy. President of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industries, Shekhar Golchha, ambassador to various countries and women entrepreneurs had participated in the virtual program. The expo will run till five days.
