May 25 : Seventy-two additional cases of COVID-19 have been reported this morning, thus taking Nepal’s total tally to 675.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the new infections were detected through tests carried out at National Public Health Laboratory in Kathmandu, BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Dharan, Rapti Academy of Health Sciences in Dang, Vector Borne Disease Research and Training Centre in Hetauda and Bheri Hospital in Nepalgunj and Provincial Hospital in Surkhet.
Among the newly infected patients, 26 aged between 18-53 are from the Rautahat district, 23 aged between 18-50 are from the Bara district and 7 aged between 15-29 are from the Dailekh district. Similarly, 3 new patients each are from the Kathmandu, Kaplilvastu and Dhanusha districts and 1 from the Bardiya district.
