May 15 : Nine new cases of the COVID-19 infection have been detected this morning, thus taking Nepal’s total tally to 258.
These new cases were confirmed through PCR tests conducted at National Public Health Laboratory, Kathmandu, and Bheri Hospital, Nepalgunj, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
One 37-year-old male from the Makawanpur district, and other eight males aged 18, 20, 22, 25, 25, 27, 32, and 36 respectively from the wards-1,2, and 3 from the Banke district have been tested positive for coronavirus.
All of them are in normal health condition and in touch with health workers, informed the ministry.
