Kathmandu, April 19 : One more COVID-19 case has been confirmed on Saturday (April 19), thus pushing the number of such cases in Nepal to 31.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the latest patient is a 65 years old male, who was among the 16 men who were brought to Biratnagar from a mosque in Udayapur for tests. Twelve of them, including 11 Indians, had been found to be inflicted with novel coronavirus on the last Friday. This is most number of the cases of the dadly diease reported in a single day in the country.
The MoHP said that it has accelerated the testing of suspected people and deployed rapid medical test teams in most of the districts.
