Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) on Thursday increased marginally by 4.15 points to close at 1,870.63 points with daily turnover just Rs 829.64 million.
The secondary market opened at 1,866.48 points and went through a series of fluctuations during the trading hours. The index rose to as high as 1,877.45 points whereas it plunged to the day’s low at 1,861.15 points.
The daily turnover crawled to just Rs 829.64 million. Except hydropower, the remaining 12 trading groups gained in their average market prices. Of them, only five groups added double-digit points in their indices.
In the individual companies, Nabil Bank had the biggest turnover amount of Rs 34.03 million. Aviyan Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited gained the largest percent of its market value while Citizens Mutual Fund 2 was the top loser.
