MAW Group Chairman Bishnu Kumar Agrawal, Changan Auto Asia Pacific Vice President Guan Jin, and MAW Vriddhi Managing Director Vivek Sikaria jointly launched the vehicle.

MAW Vriddhi Autocorp introduced the Deepal E07 during an event in Kathmandu on Monday. The company has priced the rear-wheel drive model at NPR 9.99 million (99.99 lakh) and started its sales.

Those seeking the four-wheel drive version will have to pay more than NPR 10 million (1 crore). The price of the four-wheel drive E07 has been set at NPR 19.99 million (1.99 crore). Despite the high price, this vehicle features a transformer model design.

During the launch event, MAW Group Chairman Agrawal mentioned that this is the first time a car with such premium features and affordability has been launched in Nepal. He added that no one had imagined that a vehicle with such a design could be available in Nepal for as low as NPR 7.5 million (75 lakh), making this a significant milestone.

He stated, “Technology has evolved significantly, changing our lives. Deepal has successfully transformed people’s perceptions and expectations in Nepal. Previously, no one would have thought a car with this design could be available in Nepal for 75 lakh. Even nine months ago, the idea of getting a vehicle with such features at this price point seemed impossible, but now it has arrived. This is the first time such a feature-rich vehicle has been launched in Nepal. The E07 will provide top-notch features expected from an SUV.”

Agrawal also highlighted the utility of the air suspension in the vehicle, explaining that if the ground clearance is insufficient, the suspension can automatically increase it by 30mm as needed.

It was also announced that the Deepal E07 is available in both ‘rear-wheel drive’ and ‘all-wheel drive’ variants.

The rear-wheel drive variant is equipped with a 190 kW motor, generating 258 PS of power and 365 Nm of torque. It uses an 89.9 kWh battery, offering a single-charge range of 566 km.

This EV supports fast DC charging up to 240 kW, enabling quick recharging for long journeys.

The Deepal E07 is available in four colors: white, black, gray, and green.
