Kathmandu, July 7 : The Department of Electricity Development (DoED) has scrapped the license issued to Gezhouba Group Co (CGGC) for conducting the survey of 128-megawatt Dandagaun-Khalanga-Bheri Hydropower Project in Jajarkot district
According to media reports, the department did so citing the failure of CGGC to renew its license on time. The company was reporting updates to the department till March this year.
On April 23, 2017, the CGGC had acquired the survey license and it expired on April 22 this year.
The DoED is also learnt to have nullified survey license of two other hydropower projects. The department has scrapped the licence of 4.36 MW Gamari Gadh, located in Rukum district, and 4.2 MW Sava Khola-C in Shankhuwasabha district.
