Dolpa, January 20 : Entire Dolpa district has been deprived of communications for three days. Both landline and mobile services are disrupted after technical glitches at Nepal Telecom repeater tower.
The repeater tower located at Mourelek of Gagdulla rural municipality conked out on Friday, said the Telecommunications Office. Even the GCM and CDMA towers set up at Juphal and Dun of Thulibheri municipality and Lha of Tripurasundari municipality are not functioning.
Executive Chief of Nepal Telecom at Nepalgunj, Shibaraj Khanal, informed that a technical team has been mobilized from Jumla along with necessary item and the communications would resume by Tuesday.
The daily activities at government offices and non government organizations at the local levels have been badly affected after the disruption of communications. RSS
