The Department of Transport Management (DoTM) has resumed the printing of driving licenses after resolving a technical issue that had halted operations since May 8.
In a notice issued on Friday, the DoTM confirmed that its printing system is now fully functional, allowing the resumption of card issuance for approved applications. Priority will be given to applicants such as Nepali citizens going abroad for study or employment, Nepali Army and Nepal Police personnel on peacekeeping missions, and Non-Resident Nepali (NRN) citizens.
The department also announced that urgent licenses can now be collected even on Saturdays, ensuring faster service for those with immediate travel or official commitments.
