Kathmandu, March 17: As a part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Everest Bank Limited (EBL) has recently handover a cheque worth Rs 7,00,000 to Teach For Nepal.
Teach for Nepal is a movement of outstanding university graduates and young professionals who are committed to end education inequity in Nepal starting with two years of fellowship teaching in public schools.
“We have been supporting a number of government/public schools to enhance their basic facilities and, ultimately, deliver better education. This reflects our strong commitment towards the notion of CSR particularly in the country’s educational sector,” states a press release issued by the bank.
The EBL is claimed to have a customer base of over 11,000 thousand, one of the highest in the industry. It is offering a wide array of banking services and products through the domestic network of 95 branches, 31 revenue collection counters, and 123 ATMs.
