Kathmandu, September 8 : The Nepal National Entrepreneurs’ Federation (NNEF) has demanded the waiver of house rent targetting the entrepreneurs hit hard by the government-enforced lockdown and restriction to stem the coronavirus.
Issuing a press release today, Federation chair NareshKatuwal called for exempting the house rent for the lockdown period of around six months as the business and enterprises are on the verge of collapse due the current crisis.
“We demand complete waiver of interest of banks andcooperative organizations in the period of lockdown and restriction and also call for providing loans without collateral at around five percent interest rate for the protection of COVID-affected industry and business”, he added.
