Minister Sharma said that the ordinary efforts would not be enough to increase the exports of the goods and make the economy productive therefore the country needs additional endeavors. He also said that the government would move ahead, considering the effect of COVID-19 hit the economy and it was somehow addressed by monetary policy unveiled on Friday.

Minister also seeks suggestions and policies from private sectors to ensure a self-reliant economy in the country. He also stressed enhancing national capital and inviting foreign investment after proper evaluation of the national capital.

Similarly, FNCCI Chair Shekhar Golchha termed that the monetary policy was positive as it was addressing the problems of reviving the COVID-19 hit economy and especially the issues of extending middle-scale entrepreneurship. Golchha shared that the FNCCI was preparing National Economy Transformation 2030 (NET 2030) with a goal of reaching national capital equal to 150 billion US dollars in 10 years.

He also shared that additional 2.2 million employment opportunities would be created by NET. Chair Golchha also viewed that for the purpose, 10 priority sectors and 100 initiation identifications were prepared. Similarly, FNCCI Kathmandu chapter Chair Dinesh Shrestha urged the government to bring a ‘One PAN: One Vaccine’ policy to ensure anti-COVID-19 vaccines to all entrepreneurs.
