The Ministry of Finance has formally rolled out a digital approval system for all memos and documents, marking a key step toward administrative modernization.
Finance Minister Rameshwar Khanal announced the initiative on Friday through social media, confirming that the ministry has started digitally approving files alongside the existing paper-based process.
“With this, all memos at the Finance Ministry will now go through digital approval,” Khanal stated.
The ministry expects the system to significantly enhance transparency, reduce paperwork, and streamline efficiency in day-to-day operations. Officials said the reform is part of the government’s broader push to digitize governance and improve public service delivery.
