The Federation of Nepal cottage and small industries (FNCSI) has welcomed the budget the government brought for the coming fiscal year 2019/20, and demanded the government for its effective implementation.
“It is positive that the budget prioritized the use of domestic products in the public agencies. The announcement to make the country self-reliant on two dozens of industrial goods is appreciative,” the FNCSI lauded, pointing out the need of proper budget allocation for the things to be utilized.
The industries producing cotton, silk, wool, would be given priority, as per the budget. The federation however said it was challenging to achieve 8.5 growth rate in the coming year, so effective implementation of budget was imperative.
