A meeting of the Former Finance Minister’s Forum was held today at the office of the Confederation of Banks and Financial Institutions Nepal (CBIFIN).

Former Finance Ministers participating in the meeting were welcomed by Pawan Kumar Golyan, President of Federation of Banks and Financial Institutions Nepal (CIBFIN), Bhoj Bahadur Shah, Senior Vice President and Spokesperson.

The meeting discussed issues related to increasing remittances, increasing capital expenditure, increasing investment in productive sectors, import-substitution, increasing production and employment as well as developing new entrepreneurs and entrepreneurship and sustainable economic development of the country, said Sibifin.

Former Finance Minister Dr. Ram Sharan Mahat, Surendra Pandey, Barshaman Pun and Dr. Prakash Chandra Lohani were present at the meeting, said Member Secretary of the Forum Bimal Kedia.
