Bhaktapur, September 8: The foundation stone was laid for the construction of a touristic bus park at Changunarayan municipality-6, Nagarkot in Bhaktapur. Member of the House of Representatives Mahesh Basnet laid the foundation stone for the bus park which is to be constructed at the cost of Rs 10 million.
The Kathmandu Valley Development Authority is financing for the bus park in the tourism city. Noting that politics should not be mixed with development, he said politics should not be for reaping personal gains bit for societal benefits.
On the occasion, Changunarayan municipality mayor Som Prasad Mishra said the political meddling should not be entered into the affairs of development.
“Nagarkot would be developed in a different way as the municipality has removed the huts which were constructed by encroaching upon the forest areas,” he added. RSS
