Hetauda, July 6: Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies Matrika Prasad Yadav inaugurated a fuel measuring tower in Hetauda Sub Metropolitan City amid a programme held on Friday, June 5. The tower which is spread over 10 ropanis of land was constructed by the Nepal Bureau of Standards and Metrology (NBSM) at the cost of Rs 15 million.
The Fuel measuring tower has a capacity to calibrate 15 tankers of fuel on a daily basis. Speaking on the occasion, Minister Yadav viewed that Nepal Oil Corporation and the NBSM should carry out their duty impartially while directing employees to provide service in a feasible way. Likewise, the ministry secretary Yam Kumari Khatiwada stressed the need for making NBSM more effective.
Bishwo Babu Pudasaini, Director General of the NBSM, underscored the need for further strengthening of the NBSM and encouraging its employees.
