A slight decline in the international gold market has impacted the local market as well, with the price of gold dropping by Rs. 1,400 per tola compared to Thursday. However, silver prices have seen a modest increase of Rs. 5 per tola.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold today stands at Rs. 190,800 per tola. Similarly, silver is being traded at Rs. 1,960 per tola.
On Thursday, gold was priced at Rs. 192,200 per tola, while silver was being bought and sold at Rs. 1,955 per tola.
International media sources report that gold is currently trading at USD 3,333 per ounce in the global market.
