After several days of continuous decline, gold prices have risen slightly today. According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Traders’ Federation, the price of gold increased by NPR 800 per tola today.
Last Friday, gold prices had dropped by NPR 600 per tola, and on Sunday, they fell further by NPR 700.
After falling for five consecutive days last week, gold prices had slightly increased on Thursday.
Today, the price of gold is set at NPR 196,300 per tola, compared to NPR 195,500 per tola yesterday.
On Saun 23 (Nepali calendar), the price of gold reached NPR 199,400 per tola, its highest level so far. Since then, the price has dropped by NPR 3,900.
Silver prices have also increased slightly today. According to the federation, silver rose by NPR 5 per tola, reaching NPR 2,315 per tola.
