Speaking at a press conference held at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in Singha Durbar on Saturday, government spokesperson Sasmit Pokharel said that 70 of the 100 reform commitments have been fully implemented within the government’s first 100 days in office.

According to the government’s progress report, an additional 17 agenda items have achieved more than 80 percent implementation, while the remaining 13 have recorded less than 60 percent progress and are still under implementation.

The reform agenda was introduced to improve governance, enhance public service delivery, strengthen institutional accountability, accelerate economic recovery, and promote digital transformation across government agencies.

Officials said the government will continue implementing the remaining commitments, particularly those requiring legal amendments, inter-agency coordination, and longer implementation periods.

The 100-day progress report is expected to serve as a benchmark for evaluating the government’s performance as it moves forward with its broader governance and development priorities.
