Kathmandu, September 11 : Minister for Women, Children and Senior Citizen, Parbat Gurung, has revealed that the government is carrying out homework to set up ‘Social Entrepreneurship Fund’. While addressing an event held at the Social Welfare Council (SWC)on Thursday, he made such a revelation.
According to Minister Gurung, who is also the Chairperson of the SWC, the Fund shall prepare a basis to make the social organizations self-reliant.
On the occasion, SWC’s Vice-Chairperson Dr Padma Prasad Khatiwada shared that the guidelines and procedures needed to carry out the social sector’s projects as the national pride projects are being amended and revised.
He also said thar action plan of the SWC is being prepared for making its activities result-oriented and to ensure good-governance in the institution. SWC’s new website was also launched at the event.
