‘Happy Holi’ at Welcome Advertising

Marking this year’s Phagu Purnima, Welcome Advertising organized a special program to celebrate Holi, the festival of colors which is a symbol of mutual unity, harmony, brotherhood, friendship and love, continuing the social tradition and culture.

During the event, Welcome Group Chairman Nirmalraj Paudel and Director Nita Paudel wished the staffs a happy and festive Holi. Stating that in the current society, moving away from tradition and traditional values, and moving towards modernity, Chairman Poudel expressed the belief that getting rid of accumulated emotional impurities from the past and giving more encouragement to mutual reconciliation as well as better development of intimacy and restoration and renewal of society. During the occasion, staffs of Welcome Group celebrated Holi by splashing colors on each other, participating in songs and dances, exchanging “Happy Holi” wishes along with Holi dishes. In the program, the enthusiasm of the Holi festival was clearly seen after the staffs were painted in different colors of Holi in white t-shirts.

Holi is the festival of colors in Nepal “Fagu Purnima” – Full moon day is celebrated with much gaiety. This is the time to enjoy the abundant colors of spring and say goodbye to winter. For Hindus, Holi, the festival of colors, is one of the most widely celebrated festivals in Nepal by people of all ages and backgrounds.
