Bhimduttanagar, October 3 : The Health Insurance Programme has come into effect in all nine local governments of Kanchanpur.
As part of the government’s effort to ensure citizen’s equal access to health services, the Health Insurance Board has initiated the service at all local levels.
The health insurance programme that was initiated from Kailali four years ago is now being implemented in Kanchanpur as the 44th district, said Janak Saud, Far-West Province Coordinator of Health Insurance Board.
The programme has been already operational in seven districts of the far-west except Doti and Dadeldhura.
Coordinator Saud further informed that orientation on health insurance is to be imparted soon for health workers serving at all local governments of Kanchanpur. RSS
