Income source should be increased: CM Pokharel

Nawalparasi, October 15 : Province-5 Chief Minister Shankar Pokharel has argued that the province should increase the income source for its strengthening.
Laying the foundation stone for the construction of an administrative building of Palhinandan Rural Municipality in Nawalparashi on Tuesday, CM Pokharel asserted that strengthening of province was imperative to bring positive changes in people’s living standard.
Pokharel said that since the major source of income of Province 5 was agriculture, the provincial government would implement the smart agriculture project.
Stating that his government has aimed to expand the road network to 32 local units, the CM clarified that education, health, agriculture and employment were the top priorities.
In attendance in the event were House of Representative member Sujita Shakya, Province Assembly members Baijanath Jayaswal and Dipendra Adhikari among others who also addressed the event.
The building will be constructed within two years. The estimated cost is over Rs 8o million. RSS
