Kathmandu, November 29: The government has agreed in principle to draft a bill for integrated land management. The recently held cabinet meeting gave the approval for the purpose, said government’s spokesperson Gokul Banskota. He, who is also Minister for Communications and Information Technology, informed the very bill is aimed at increasing the production and productivity to make the nation self-reliant.
Minister Banskota also shared that the Cabinet meeting had formed a talks team under the convenorship of Navraj Dhakal, joint secretary at the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies for the review of Nepal-India Transit Treaty and the talk team’s recent meeting has achieved success in the field. The joint secretary level meeting’s decision would be discussed in a secretary-level meeting before coming into force through a ministerial meeting.
