Kathmandu, August 7: The 9.9-megawatt Iwakhola hydropower project is to be integrated with the national transmission line next week. According to Kubermani Nepal, director of Rairang Hydro Power Company Limited, the project has undergone the test of power generation in an internal manner.
With the completion of the internal test, the project has submitted an application to the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) for power trade. “We had submitted the application to NEA to get the project connected with the national grid”, he informed.
Nepal expressed his belief that the 9.9 MW project would be linked with the national transmission line next week. Iwakhola project is built in the right side of the rivulet flowing through the border of Taplejung and Panchthar districts. RSS
