The world-renowned travel platform Tripadvisor has named Kathmandu the Best Nature Destination in the World in its “Traveler’s Choice Awards 2024.”
In its latest awards announcement, Tripadvisor ranked Nepal’s capital among the top destinations, highlighting Kathmandu’s remarkable appeal. The “Best of the Best” title celebrates destinations that consistently receive outstanding reviews and recommendations from travelers over the past year, based on feedback from the Tripadvisor community.
For 2024, Tripadvisor has recognized top destinations across seven categories: Trending Destinations, Top Destinations, Nature Destinations, Food Destinations, Culture Destinations, Honeymoon Destinations, and Sustainable Destinations.
Kathmandu earned the top spot among 25 nature destinations. Describing the city, Tripadvisor notes, “Nepal’s capital is brimming with historic sites, ancient temples, shrines, and captivating villages,” offering travelers a unique blend of natural beauty and cultural heritage.
