A meeting of the Forum held on Wednesday (August 10) took the decision in this regard. The meeting also asked the government to make checking at the entry points to Kathmandu Valley strict in the view of the growing risk of spread of the disease at the community level. Similarly, the Forum suggested the federal government to run the integrated quarantine as per the Quarantine Management and Operation Regulation, considering the high number of arrivals from third countries.

The forum also asked the government to completely stop the political rallies and gatherings apart from the cultural activities like procession. It also decided to coordinate for taking action against those moving without mask in order to reduce possibility of spreading of infection.
