Dolakha, December 06 : An agreement has reached to expedite up-gradation of Khadichaur-Charikot road section, which has been stalled since long. Agitating civic leaders and representatives from Contractor Company reached an agreement to swiftly complete the up-gradation of the road section.
Civic leader Ramesh Khatiwada informed that a meeting presided over by Lamosanghu-Jiri Road Expansion Project Chief Deepak Barahi on the participation of contractor’s representatives and civic leaders reached the agreement to that end. According to the agreement, Shakil Haidar and Shanker Mali Construction Service which was awarded a contract for the construction of 30-km Mudhe-Charikot road section would instantly begin up-gradation from both Charikot and Mude sides.
The two sides agreed to complete sub-base and gravel placement related works within mid-January and blacktopping within June first week next year, informed civic leader Chiranjivi Maskey who also attended the meeting.
Likewise, another company Simanchal-Gauriparbati-Sunaula Khmti JV, which was awarded the contract for the construction of 25-km Khadichaur-Mude road section, has also committed to fill the potholes on the road section and complete blacktopping by June first week next year, Maskey informed. RSS
