Construction of the Kohalpur–Surkhet 132 kV transmission line has reached its final phase, with preparations underway to charge the line by Magh 20. According to Project Chief Rabi Chaudhary, only around 500 metres of cable stringing remains, and work is moving ahead at a fast pace.
The project, launched six years ago at a cost of Rs 700 million, has achieved 100 percent physical progress, the project office said. Testing of the system will be completed within a week, and electricity transmission is expected to begin within the next 15 days.
