Kathmandu, June 4 : The Korean Language Test (KLT) conducted by the Employment Permit System (EPS) in South Korea for Nepali employment seekers is going to take place on June 8 and 9.
According to the EPS Korea Section under the Department of Foreign Employment (DoFE), 32 examination centers have been fixed in Kathmandu and Pokhara to simultaneously hold the KLT.
The examination is scheduled to take place in two shifts- the first shift will begin from 8 am and the second shift from 11.30 am.
A total of 92,376 aspirants have applied to attend the KLT this year. Of them, 63,487 aspirants are looking for jobs in the production sector and the remaining 28,889 in the agriculture sector.
In 2018, a total number of applicants registering themselves for the language test was 82,264.
The Korean government has hiring migrant workers from 16 countries including Nepal through the skill test provision.
