The government has removed Kulman Ghising from his role as the Executive Director of the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA).
Highly-placed government sources confirmed that the decision was made during the cabinet meeting held on Monday evening.
Ghising was reappointed as NEA’s Executive Director on August 9, 2021, for his second term in the position.
The cabinet has decided to appoint Hitendra Dev Shakya as the new Executive Director of the NEA.
