Kathmandu, April 9 : Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) Managing Director Kulman Ghising has said that certain elements, who were responsible for pushing the country into the darkness of prolonged load-shedding, are making furtive attempts to weaken him.
Speaking at a press meet held in the capital on Monday (April 8), he emotionally stated, “The current NEA management has been working tirelessly to ensure effective service delivery. However, a group of people are indulged in spreading hollow rumours against the Authority and me.”
Ruling out the allegations that he received more than Rs 6 million as bonus, Ghising revealed,” I have got just Rs 200 thousand as an incentive pay from the government based on my performance.”
