Kathmandu, November 12: Kumari Bank Limited has provided scholarship and 5 sets of computer to the underprivileged students of Shree Kamal Aadharbhut School, situated at ward no. 1, Kamalpokhari, Kathmandu.

The Bank distributed 5 sets of computers in the school this year as well. The activity was intended to facilitate quality education of the students, igniting a beacon of hope among the young minds. Furthermore, the Bank also provided scholarship to Mr. Tulsi Ram Chand, an outstanding student of grade IX, upon the request of both the school and the student himself.

The activity, conducted as one of the Bank’s CSR initiatives towards facilitation of academic enlightenment of the students, was carried out by the Bank’s Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Rajib Giri by handing-over the computers and cheque to the school’s Principal, Man Bahadur Khadka. Kumari Bank, under its CSR portfolio, with its persistent contributions to Health, Environment, Heritage and Educational sector has pledged to continually bring better and more effective contributions to the society in the days ahead.

The Bank his providing modern banking services through its extensive 112 branch network, 100 ATMs, 17 branchless banking units and 3 extension counters.
