Nepal Sales Mission-2022 program organized with the aim to promote Nepal’s tourism has been completed in Kuala Lumpur and Penang, Malaysia. The program was organized by the Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) in collaboration with the Nepal Association of Tour and Travel Agents (NATTA).

During the program, the Nepali team requested Malaysian tourism professionals to prepare tour packages for the beautiful tourist areas of Nepal. The Nepali tourism team that went to Malaysia under the leadership of the Chief Executive Chief (CEO) of the Nepal Tourism Board, Dr Dhananjay Regmi, held a formal program in the Malaysian tourist city of Penang on Monday and invited them to make a Nepal tour package with information about various attractions.

In the B-to-B session of the program, the directors of various travel agents companies of Nepal discussed and negotiated with their Malaysian counterparts about the attractive destinations and tourism packages of Nepal.

Similarly, CEO Dr Regmi, asked the Nepalis in Malaysia to make arrangements to bring their friends to visit their country. He said that only the Nepalis working in Malaysia can inspire tourists from Malaysia to visit Nepal.

Likewise, Suresh Adhikari, Secretary of the Ministry of Tourism expressed his belief that such a program will be important for the promotion of tourism and said that the government is ready for political facilitation. He said that this positive initiative would be to promote the tourism business in cooperation with the private sector.

Senior manager of the board, Sunil Sharma, informed the businessmen about Nepal’s tourism potential and attractive destinations and said that it is expected to promote Nepal’s tourism.

Nepali Ambassador to Malaysia Dilli Raj Paudel, CEO of NTB Dr. Dhananjaya Regmi, Executive Chairman of Nepal Airlines Yuvraj Dhakal and others expressed their opinion on various issues of promotion of tourism in Nepal at the program held in Kuala Lumpur.
