Pandit Nawaraj Sharda Memorial Society has been established with a fund of Rs. 1 million to run various social programs.
The announcement of establishment of Memorial Society was made at a program organized on the occasion of Pandit Poudel’s birth anniversary.
Chairman of the society Nirmal Raj Poudel said that the society was established with the aim of respecting the contribution of the parents and contributing as much as possible for the society.
He said that the organization was established to contribute to the society, inspired by the culture, education and motivation given by father Pandit Nawaraj Poudel and mother Shardadevi Poudel.
According to Nirmal Poudel, his had dedicated his life to Sanatan Dharma, culture and social welfare.
The society was inaugurated by reciting Swasti Vachan by Batuks and lighting special lamps in Panas by the distinguished guests and laying wreaths on the portrait of Pandit Poudel.
The guests discussed Poudel’s personality and contribution.
